How do I know if my child needs pediatric psychological testing?

Pediatric psychological testing may be recommended by a professional—such as a school staff member, physician, behavioral health therapist or psychiatrist—who is working with or treating your child and who may feel that testing would help them determine how best to work with your child.

Or, you may independently choose to seek pediatric psychological testing to answer questions you may have about your child’s behavior, emotions and/or development, or to better understand your child’s needs and the best way to help them be successful.
