Overview
As part of the Ken and Ruth Davee Department of Neurology, the聽华体会 Parkinson鈥檚 Disease and Movement Disorders Center聽supports the educational, research and patient care activities of the department related to Parkinson鈥檚 disease, essential tremor, dystonia, ataxia and other movement disorders. The clinical practice operates in conjunction with the Neuro-Testing Center, which provides a full spectrum of neurodiagnostic services.
Our program brings together the advanced resources of聽, one of the nation's premier institutions for research into movement disorders. The school was recently named by the National Institutes of Health as one of only 12 centers in the country to receive the prestigious Morris K. Udall Center聽grant for Parkinson's research.
Our mission is to provide innovative, multidisciplinary care for patients and families affected by Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders; to promote health, education and support for patients, caregivers, family members, healthcare providers and the community; and to conduct pre-clinical and clinical research in order to extend the knowledge and treatment of movement disorders.

Newly diagnosed with Parkinson鈥檚 disease and not on any medications:
We consider initial treatment intervention decisions of utmost importance. If you are not on any medications for Parkinson disease, we will provide you with an earlier appointment with one of our movement disorders specialists.
